Home Visits

Home visits are available for patients who are clinically housebound or medically unable to travel to the surgery.

Whenever possible, we encourage patients to attend the practice for their appointments. Seeing patients in the surgery allows our clinicians to assess and treat more people effectively, and access to equipment and facilities often enables a more thorough examination.

If you feel you require a home visit, please contact the practice before 12:00pm on the day of your request. Home visits should only be requested if you are genuinely unable to attend the surgery due to your medical condition.

Please note that many assessments and investigations can be carried out more accurately in the surgery, which helps clinicians make the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment decisions. For this reason, we encourage patients to book an appointment at the practice whenever it is safe and practical to do so.
